Daylilies are easy, adaptable plants, reliable bloomers, and long-lasting perennials. Grow in moderately fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Once established, they are moderately drought tolerant. Provide ample sun & moisture to ensure optimum flowering. Apply granular fertilizer for flowering plants in spring, and a balanced liquid fertilizer every 2-3 weeks through summer. Remove spent flower stalks & dead leaves on a regular basis. Divide every 3-5 years to maintain vigor.
