- Greek Basil
'Aristotle' basil is small-leaved variety with a beautiful tightly-mounded habit and a hardiness to adverse conditions that make it a garden standby. The flowers set late, prolonging the edible harvest season. While it tastes great fresh, frozen, and in sauces, the small flavorful leaves are perfect for drying as they pack more punch than other basil varieties. Grown in a pot it will form a tight, dense, cushion-shape that fills in over the edges of the container while maintaining a dense center.
