- One of our easiest plants for the sunny border
- Great in dry sites & poor, sandy soils
- Pairs well with many of our common prairie flowers
Decadence Series Baptisias are ideal for smaller gardens because of their shorter stature, and 'Sparkling Sapphires' boasts a show-stoppingly vibrant violet blue flower in late spring. The seed pods that develop immediately after blooming is finished create a beautiful touch that persists into fall. With its easy care requirements, drought tolerance, and deer resistance, Baptisia 'Sparkling Sapphires' is an excellent choice for gardeners looking for a low-maintenance perennial.
