- Multi-colored flowers brighten up a flower garden
- Good choice for sandy or gravelly soils
- Divide in early spring, if desired
Baptisia 'Cherries Jubilee' has very unique flowers and a bushy, well-branched growth habit. In spring to early summer the deep maroon buds open to maroon and yellow flowers that gradually change to gold as they mature. It has nice, secondary branching that makes this variety very floriferous. The blue-green foliage makes a nice backdrop for the interesting flowers. The blossoms eventually give way to ornamental seed pods that extend the attraction into the fall.
